Our Team
Amna Naqvi AMFT- CA
As an associate marriage and family therapist (AMFT) with a robust background in medicine, I bring a unique perspective to the realm of mental health and Wellness. With a profound understanding of both the psychological and physiological aspects of human health, I approach therapy with a holistic and empathetic mindset.
I earned my MD from Dow university of Health Sciences, Pakistan where I developed a deep appreciation for the intricate play between mind and body. This foundation in medicine provided me with valuable insights into the complexities of human behavior and the impact of various health conditions on individuals and families.
Driven by a passion for helping others navigate life challenges, I pursued further education in the field of psychology, earning a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
In my clinical practice, I integrate my medical background with therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Solution focused therapy, And systemic family therapy. I believe in the power of collaboration and tailor my interventions to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
I’m dedicated to creating a safe space and supportive environment for clients where they can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. My goal is to empower clients to cultivate resilience, strengthen relationships and lead fulfilling lives.
Outside of my clinical practice, I am committed to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of the latest research and advancements in both medicine and psychotherapy. I also enjoy music, dance, and cooking. As a mother I love to spend time with my kids and see them develop and grow into healthy young adults.
I am currently accepting new clients and welcoming individuals, and families seeking support on their journey towards healing and growth.
Let’s work together towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.
