Ava Khajehpour, AMFT
In my work as a therapist, I focus on creating a space where clients feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, and taking their time. Therapy does not have to feel overwhelming or forced, and I aim to make sessions feel grounded, supportive, and practical. I work collaboratively with clients and value open communication throughout the therapeutic process.I support children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, emotional stress, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Sessions are shaped by what the client brings in and what feels most relevant at the time. I incorporate evidence-based tools such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and coping skills, using them flexibly rather than following a rigid structure.I place importance on cultural awareness and meeting clients where they are. I am fluent in Farsi and strive to provide care that feels respectful, thoughtful, and aligned with each client’s needs.
