Natalie Colosimo, AMFT
Hi! My name is Natalie, and I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you can show up as you are, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. My goal is to build an authentic, collaborative relationship where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being honest.
I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and couples. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, self-esteem, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ experiences. I recognize that everyone’s experiences and goals are different, so I take the time to understand what brings you to therapy and what meaningful change looks like for you.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and systemic approaches, while incorporating trauma-informed practices based on each client’s needs. With couples, I also draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method to support communication, connection, and understanding of relationship patterns.
I enjoy helping clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns while building coping skills and recognizing their strengths. Whether you’re working through a difficult season, navigating relationships, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, my goal is to support you at a pace that feels right for you and help you create meaningful change.
